Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress famous for her performance in movies such as Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the only daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was sixteen, she had been offered a variety of television roles which included the leading role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. She was praised for her role in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's secretary of state Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated movie featuring this actress. In the past, Alexandra was involved in numerous noteworthy national and international projects. One of these is the British biographical movie Control, the Greek drama film The Dust of Time, as well as the French historical mini-series Napoleon. Other roles she has held include being an official jury member for two festivals: and the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
